google style guide is by reading all of the comments and even they will only
catch the additional rules that have been pointed out. This will save everyone
a significant amount of time because we'll have fewer code reviews fail due to
style issues.
Good point. The current coding style is mostly based on the Google C++ styling
guide, with some divergences towards to Hadoop styling guide (which is based on
the Sun styling guide) (http://wiki.apache.org/hadoop/CodeReviewChecklist) so
that the styling can be keep somewhat consistent with the Java side.
It makes sense to have a README to document them.
