Actually, this should be a problem that block placement policy doesn't using expected storage types in choosing random nodes. And that makes some invalid nodes being chosen. Reading from two solutions, I prefer to the first solution. As storage type introduced in DataNode, it will be better to add this info as the one field of Node. That means which storage types are contained in the Node.
