[~stack], we are trying to solve the exact same issue as this JIRA reports.
Actually, our solution is just an evolved version of the original patch in this
JIRA.
I'm OK with creating a duplicated issue and linking back but one of the two
will be eventually marked as duplicated.
Any particular reason to not keep working on this one?
