I think that is a completely invalid test case.  It smells like writing the 
test to match the bug.  There is no security conscious use case where you want 
a client using the kms to retain its identity but let the kms morph.

Just think if you were to hand off a client to another thread for processing.  
Why would morphing into the user of the other thread by desirable?
