[~anu] Based on my analysis, here is my proposal for this issue:
# Open a HADOOP Jira similar to HADOOP-15007 where we can address the
'description' metadata.
# Revamp the UI so that with new Json returned as part of #1, the page can
look and appear to function as current design (sorting, searching and selecting
multiple tags etc).
I have done a draft change for #1 and tested it. If you & [~ajayydv] agree with
the proposal, I will file a HADOOP Jira and post the changes.
I will then release this Jira back to the pool so someone with AngularJS
expertise can do the UI changes.
