venkata ramkumar commented on HDFS-388: --------------------------------------- Hi [~nidaley], Thanks for reporting this issue. I don't see any property with name dfs.exclude in hdfs-default.xml. I think its dfs.hosts.exclude property. Also can you please elaborate the Slaves file does for better understanding of this jira. > dfs.exclude file should allow unqualified host names > ---------------------------------------------------- > > Key: HDFS-388 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-388 > Project: Hadoop HDFS > Issue Type: Improvement > Reporter: Nigel Daley > Priority: Minor > Labels: newbie > > Currently, the dfs.exclude file requires either IP addresses to be used or > fully qualified host names. The exclude file should allow unqualified host > names, like the slaves file does. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.6.3#76005) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: hdfs-issues-unsubscr...@hadoop.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: hdfs-issues-h...@hadoop.apache.org
