Regarding #1, I'm not agreeing that the implementation should be case
insensitive. I'm saying that as long as the spec is case sensitive, the
implementation can be lenient if it conform to the spec param names/values.
Regarding #4, how about something like 'a string containing an octal value
representing the permissions, commonly a 3 digits value'
