Todd Lipcon updated HDFS-4006: ------------------------------ Attachment: test-log.txt Actually managed to find an instance on our internal jenkins where this had failed. As suspected above, the error actually occurred on testSecondaryFailsWithErrorBeforeSettingHeaders and then ended up showing up as a failure for testSecondaryHasVeryOutOfDateImage. The log is from a CDH4 branch but the code should be nearly identical to upstream, so still useful to help debug. > TestCheckpoint#testSecondaryHasVeryOutOfDateImage occasionally fails due to > unexpected exit > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: HDFS-4006 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-4006 > Project: Hadoop HDFS > Issue Type: Bug > Components: name-node > Affects Versions: 2.0.0-alpha > Reporter: Eli Collins > Assignee: Todd Lipcon > Labels: test-fail > Attachments: test-log.txt > > > TestCheckpoint#testSecondaryHasVeryOutOfDateImage occasionally fails due to > unexpected exit, due to an NPE while checkpointing.
