I am trying to start up the facebook version of hadoop at here https://github.com/facebook/hadoop-20-warehouse#readme where the AvartaNode code is. I notice that the AvartaNode is trying to connect to a Zookeeper. At one point, the AvartaNode can be configured with Linux-HA to handle the automatic failover. Is it still possible to use Linux-HA and virtual IP instead of Zookeeper to handle failover?
