Hi, The basic work for WebHDFS was completed. HDFS-2316 and all the sub-tasks were already committed to the Hadoop code base (in trunk, 0.23, 1 and 1.0 branches). It will be released with Hadoop 1.0. For your convenience, I have generated the 1.0 docs and posted it at
