Dear safranim,
Last June, Joan Aliprand of RLG presented a paper "The Use of Unicode in MARC 21 Records" at the AJL Convention. One of the topics was use of RLIN21; the relevant portion is now available on the RLG Web site.

Articles on RLIN21 are at posted at http://www.rlg.org/en/page.php?Page_ID=3661. You'll find the link to Joan's paper just below the middle of the list.

AJL is in the process of making the Proceedings of the 39th Convention available to AJL members on its site (www.jewishlibraries.org).

If you have questions about RLIN21 or the use of right-to-left scripts in MARC 21 records, you can contact the RLG Information Center ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
