Hi Uri, The language of " descriptive cataloging" is coded in delimiter "b" of the MARC 040 field. This does not reflect the language of the item being cataloged but rather the language of the cataloging agency and cataloging rules. I suspect that in the case of the record that you see in OCLC, the language of cataloging is Hebrew. In this case you would not use the extant record, but rather would create a separate record which OCLC calls a "parallel record."
