Predominant practice has been to romanize as “ha-A.B.” or “ha-A-B” (both found
in LC’s OPAC; not sure which is correct/preferred). We do not spell out
initialisms/acronyms/abbreviations in other cases, so I’m not sure why we would
here.

Subject: romanize this
Hello Colleagues,
How to romanize על סדר הא''ב. Ha-alef bet? Or ha-A. B.? My preference would be
ha-A[lef] B[et], but I presume that’s not allowed. ☹
