We use LC to enhance the latin character side of our multiscript authorities through VIAF, but we do not use LC to manage authorities in our catalogs. Therefore the majority of our time is allotted to maintaining Mazal and the amount of time we can devote to maintaining LC is limited. We prefer to use that time to do things in which Israel represents added value: separating multiple people on a single authority record, creating new records, and changing preferred headings at the request of the people who those headings represent.
