Hi all,
I'd like to invite you to save the date for an informal Heka meetup (I'm
calling it the "Heka Jam"), taking place at Mozilla's San Francisco
office on the evening of Wednesday, November 19th, from 7 to 9pm.
This will be a relatively unstructured event. The idea is not for people
to sit facing the front of the room watching someone give a presentation
using a slide deck, but rather to provide an opportunity for Heka
developers and users to get together to compare notes, ask each other
questions, and share our experiences.
Do you have specific use cases in mind but you're unsure whether or not
Heka is a suitable tool? Come to the Heka Jam and ask! Have you done
something very cool with Heka that you want to show off? Come to the
Heka Jam and show us! Have you hit a pain point using Heka that you want
to make sure the core team knows about? Come to the Heka Jam and share
your pain with us!
I'll be setting up a Meetup page for this to provide more details and so
folks can RSVP, will send that out on Monday, but since it's less than
two weeks from now I wanted to get this out pronto so folks can put it
in their calendars.
Hope to see you there!
