Unfortunately there's no way to set a default ticker interval value for a Lua plugin, since the ticker timing is handled by Go. Lua plugins can only specify default values for the config settings that are in the nested `[YourSandboxPlugin.config]` section, not the outer `[YourSandboxPlugin]` config section.

Related issue / code: https://github.com/mozilla-services/heka/issues/125 https://github.com/mozilla-services/heka/pull/224/files I looked in the extending Heka docs (http://hekad.readthedocs.org/en/v0.10.0b1/developing/plugin.html) but didn't see an answer there either. Is it possible to pass a default value in Lua Sandboxes? Thanks! Nathan _______________________________________________ Heka mailing list [email protected] https://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/heka
