Hi everyone,

as announced on Thursday, here is my report of this week.
In the last two days i began documenting my work in HelenOS's trac [1],
which is (of course) still work in progress. Until now I wrote down the
major key points of the IPC design while pointing out the differences and
problems I had to face. Iwill try to go into some more detail in the
upcoming days. Additionally I debugged the IPC server-client architecture
and began writing a test and thereby debugging the newly implemented IPC
Call Queue. Since the implementation is not that trivial, debugging is
going relatively slow and I was not yet able to finish it, but I hope to
finish it with minimal time effort.
As soon as the work on the IPC Call Queue is finished, i will preparing to
port Core (the first task loaded in Genode) by implementing the
platform specific initialization. Therefor it is necessary to obtain some
information about where to find and/or how to acquire the boot-information,
containing:
 - the Memory configuration (RAM, IO Memory)
 - information about the boot modules
With this knowledge my goal for the upcoming week is to implement the
platform initialization and threads for Genode and push forward the
documentation in trac.

I would be glad about any hints and comments.

Regards,
Tobias
