I will try to do some more testing, especially on the other Itanium and gta02. I will post my last results once I am done. In the mean time, let's see if somebody stands up to the challenge.
OK, I'll do it. I don't see it as a challenge, but merely as a mutex acquirement :)
So the official milestone time is August 8th 2012, 2200 UTC. That leaves us with a countdown of 30 hours, after which I'll commit the version bump to 0.5.0, build the release files and post them on the web.
If you encounter any serious trouble, please let me know within that time frame and I'll postpone the release.
