Hello Tobias, thank you for your final GSoC report.
So I think the main questions are now: Where this project is going from here and how will it be continued, since the GSoC is coming to an end. I personally would like to continue working on this project. One possibility is that I may use the continued work on this for my diploma thesis, since Genode Labs offered me to support this.
You have spent time and effort on solving many inherent problems and implementing this Genode port so far. However, you are still in a prototype phase: You know for sure now that the approach is feasible, but you are still relatively far from a full-blown Genode user space running on top of SPARTAN. Thus, in my opinion the only way forward is forward :) If you choose to go forward and if you are able to find a supporting framework that would allow this, we can only applaud it. The master thesis would be certainly a good option.
Abandoning the code and letting it rot (or hoping somebody picks it up) is also an option and we certainly cannot force you in any way not to choose it for whatever reasons. No hard feelings. But it would be a pity :)
