sorry for a late response. We do not currently support Intel 82599EB in
HelenOS. I am not even aware of anybody from the core team that has this
piece of hardware.
In addition, while I don't want to sound like a pessimist, I would be
extremely surprised if the HelenOS networking stack would scale to 10
GB/s throughput in its current state :)
i have a intel 82599EB use ixgbe drivers on freebsd.
That can run on HelenOS?
Unfortunately, you cannot use a FreeBSD driver in HelenOS, at least not
directly. Our user space device driver framework is completely different
from the FreeBSD kernel driver interface.
Just out of curiosity, why would you want to use the 82599EB in HelenOS?
