Hi folks,
on a note related to FOSDEM: The GSoC money from Google has already
arrived to the bank account of Charles University. Because Jakub and
Vojta didn't ask for the standard expenses (diets) for their trip to
Mountain View, we have the whole sum of 2500 USD readily available. We
can finance our attendance to FOSDEM again and still have a reasonable
reserve for other purposes.
On a downside, because of the local bureaucracy, it would be helpful if
we could spend the money this year. It is possible to take across the
money to the next year, but the smaller the sum is the easier. So let's
create a list of possible expenses and decide what are our priorities.
Therefore I hereby announce the 1st Call for Purchases [1] with a
deadline of November 20th 2012. Please read the wiki page for further
details and contribute with your ideas. The page is not linked publicly
on purpose, this might be also a good motivation to revive our previous
efforts in establishing an official not-for-profit organization.
