Darn I really regret missing that. I was trying hard to get in the hangout
but without success... I just could not find how to do that. Yes, I am just
that horrible with Google+.

Can someone enlighten me how I get in the hangout? I was only able to find
the 'event' which I believe is just a questionnaire asking me whether I will
be attending or not.

Also, at the time I assume the hangout was in progress I tried contacting JJ
and JV via g+ chat but it told me they were not online - this baffled me and
led me to believe the hangout was not happening.

Thanks for any suggestions
-Jiri

PS: I *hate* google+

- this is causing #492, fix in progress

JZr:

- no need for pivot-root and simlinks with VFS2

VH:
- reported on his progress on porting gcc
- libunwind
- difficulties related to pretending to be Linux

GSoC ideas:
- focus on being closer to the self-hosting milestone
- Python, waf, install, clang (as a parallel effort to gcc)
- focus on usability
- GUI improvements (get rid of floats)
- improving support on the less supported architectures
- could make use of some new mentors from the ranks of the new
committers for suitable student projects
