There are two problems I'd like to fix before merging the audio support: 1.) the modified DMA allocator does not work well with e1k driver. i.e. there is not enough memory available below the 16MB boundary. The problem is easier to hit using newer qemu versions as these start networking support with e1000 card by default (at least my distro). 2.) occasional audio glitches when using the audio daemon.
