- submitted VFS2 thesis
- plans to integrate minimal runtime support for Go,
just enough for VFS2; the rest will be available as
independent libraries
- not entirely satisfied with Go's wrapper around IPC
- loooong debate about access control
MD:
- interfaces & ports, in progress (before Camp)
- since last meeting:
- TCP/UDP sockets fix
- ports not being recycled
- gcc 4.8.0
- removed HelenOS logo from the kernel
- added HelenOS logo to vlaunch
- read-bit for CS to allow code segment reads from real mode (VESA
BIOS)
- enabled bus mastering on PCI
- 10.0.2.15 default configuration
- VH: refreshed clang support, MD fixed the alignment issue
JJ:
- slip, still WiP
JVe:
- defended thesis, passed final exams, congrats!
- audio server implemented, needs to address some issues first
before merging (see his e-mail)
- steering to usb 2.0
- caching and timer interrupt issues on ARM
