Hello Sergio,

thanks for your contribution! Your design looks promising and there are some nice touches that I really like. I have a few comments though (which are certainly only my personal opinions):

 * The logotype "HelenOS" is using different font than in our logo. I
acknowledge that the HelenOS logo is currently nowhere publicly
available in source form and I promise to create a page on our wiki
   with our visual identity soon.

 * I still cannot imagine how do you plan to fit in all the content of
the current HelenOS site into the three menu items I can see in the
main navigation bar. Do you plan to have a roll-out menu or a
deeper structure of navigation on the sub-pages? I would need to see
a demo of this before switching to your design.

 * Also, I miss the content of the right-hand sidebar on the current
HelenOS site (Quick links, Recent project, the last commit ticker)
   and the Ohloh statistics.

 * The background image with the source code is nice, but despite the
blur it is still too distracting (when you try to read some text
written over it). You should lower the contrast of the background
   image besides just blurring it.

 * Also, to not break the effect on larger screens, the background
image needs to have a larger height (at least some 2000 pixels).
Currently the effect ends abruptly even on common 1080p monitors. If
the height of the background image is sufficient, you can "cheat it
   into infinity" by repeat-y.

 * Finally, I suggest you try to make the main text content of the page
more responsive. If the width of my screen is 1920 pixels, there is
no reason to have just one narrow column of text visible at the same
time. It would be great to have two columns of text and there are
plenty of possibilities how to elegantly implement the scrolling (I
   leave that to your judgement).

Of course, the current one-column rendering is fine for narrower
screens. The responsive design should adapt fluently to this.

I hope that my comments didn't discourage you. Keep up with the good work, I am looking forward to your next improved version.

M.D.
