I ran into this in the following setup:
Qemu with UHCI HC (-usb) and with a real flash stick connected to the host
port forwarded into Qemu (-usbdevice host:xxxx:yyyy)
Since you say low-speed bulk transfers are not allowed, this is probably a
bug in Qemu, so it can be considered a workaround.
We could certainly file a bug with Qemu and then remove the workaround, but
still, I would expect the driver to handle the situation gracefully, instead
of crashing.

explicitly state that only full speed bulk transfers are allowed. Have
you run into a bug related to this? if so is that a real device or
qemu(other emulator) based one?
