Dear Michal,
I'd like to join you and discuss the system daemon [1] topic.
Great. You are more than welcome.
Just as as a side node: Pablo Antonio is starting to work on his master
thesis on a similar (slightly more generic) topic, as you know from his
later reply to this thread. Please don't be alarmed by that, it is
perfectly fine to have two independent theses with similar topics
running at the same time.
Since you and Antonio live on different continents, there should be no
problems with keeping your efforts independent. And in the end the
HelenOS community should have two implementations to choose from (or
even to combine).
I suppose some of you live in Beroun otherwise I'm slightly against
all of us going to Beroun and back just to debate.
Yes, Jakub Jermar lives in Beroun. But even if that weren't the case,
why not make an exception from the majority of HelenOS meetings that
take place in Prague? Beroun is easily accessible from Prague even by
public transport (almost comparable to someone having to go from one end
of Prague to a pub on the other end).
And it's on Sunday, so just take it as an opportunity for a small
leisure trip to get Prague from your lungs :)
BTW: To follow the tradition, the next meeting will be in Brussels,
Belgium, co-located with FOSDEM 2015. But the meeting after that will be
probably again in Prague.
M.D.
