I had the same issue. I gave up on it and settled on a different ticket :D
I don't know the Mac's keys, but try toggling something with the Fn (or
similar) button.
Also, I've noticed that when NumLock is off, I can't use my arrow keys,
and my mouse scrolls are interpreted as up and down keys. When NumLock
is on, the keys work as expected. Perhaps it might be a related issue.
