Greetings, my thesis dealt with implementing forwarding and I managed to get HelenOS to work as a NAT-enabled firewall. I'm willing to help with picking out the relevant stuff, although I don't have the time to merge the changes all by myself. I also made a set of test scripts for checking most of the functionality - that might be helpful too.
