thanks for sharing your test! Wonder why the edges of the picture seem to be
slightly off screen (both in kernel and in the GUI). The colors (especially
gray) seem a little bit off, is that just caused by the camera?




The system looks slow overall - maybe we need to enable some caches? The 
graphics drawing routines are not optimized at all and there might be room
for improvement, but perhaps the optimizer is doing a good job (as it doesn'
t seem that slow compared to kernel console). I know for a fact that the 
kernel console scrolling is a bit slow, because once scrollback function was
added, the optimizer just couldn't handle it anymore and started generating
much slower code (stuff just didn't fit into registers anymore).




Anyway good to know you're testing it. Still plenty of work left to do :-)
