What gets displayed if you run “python –version”? or “which python”?

I went through this process a few weeks back on Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS and the
build worked right out of the box.

Subject: [HelenOS-devel] HelenOS Building

Hello, I hope you are doing well and great, I would like to say HelenOS is
probably one of the best hobby/server operating system I have ever used so far.
I am planning on using HelenOS and making changes to the code and write
software for HelenOS, but I am really struggling on building HelenOS, I am
using Ubuntu 16.04 with the build-essential wget texinfo flex bison dialog
python-yaml genisoimage

Software you listed in the readme. But when I run ../../helenos/configure.sh
amd64, it gives me this error saying the syntax is invalid, I am not sure if
the script is broken or not. If there is a fix please let me know, I am really
excited about HelenOS. Thanks for your support for now
