Just out of curiosity, why do you use Borland C++? AFAIK it is still
proprietary software, but strictly speaking it is rather non-trivial to
acquire legally nowadays (I certainly understand that there are other
ways :)).
Would Open Watcom not work for you (if you need to generate 16-bit
code)? Or even DJGPP (if you can live with a DOS extender)?
