Dear all,
as you might have already noticed, the official HelenOS web site and the
web pages running on the various subdomains of helenos.org have been
switched from HTTP to HTTPS last week. Most of the original HTTP URLs
transparently redirect to their HTTPS counterparts, besides a few
exceptions where serving the URLs via HTTP is still practically necessary.
If you encounter any problems with the new setup, feel free to report
them to me directly.
We also plan to eventually retire the current mailing list server
(lists.modry.cz) since it is running an already obsolete 2.x branch of
the GNU Mailman. The mailing lists will be migrated to a more suitable
location at lists.helenos.org, most likely running GNU Mailman 3.x.
Since the migration will be somewhat delicate both on the side of the
server (2.x and 3.x are quite different) and the clients (changed
address), this is just an advance warning so that you (and your email
setups) are not completely surprised when this is eventually set into
motion. But it might still take weeks or months, as my time permits :)
