Cheers, Jiri Minutes of HelenOS online meeting 2024-10-10 ============================================ Attendees: - MC Miroslav Cimerman - JJ Jakub Jermář - JS Jiří Svoboda Round table =========== MC - discussion of software RAID - parallelism? - how to measure performance - slow pef with multiple CCPUS in qemu - pci-ide crash if no hdd, just iso JJ - no update JZr [absent, I am writing up for him] - Terminal scrolling and resizing support - Simplify the SYS_THREAD_CREATE syscall interface JS [note: didn't have time for update during the meeting, adding post hoc] - follow ups to JZr's "Terminal scrolling and resizing support" - fix bright being applied to background color - better textmode detection for GFXdemo (not based on resolution) - fix bug in ui_window_send_minimize() - terminal would crash because it had minimize button, but not maximize button - create terminal window with the correct size from the start - network configuration persistence - improve terminal behavior in console mode - now working, just that the characters are HUGE - remote console improvements - moved vt100 support from output server to libvt - remote console supports cursor and color control - added RGB support (can be disabled) - added memory mapping support - added support for special keys/modifiers - implemented telnet window size option - implemented mouse tracking (but not in serial console)
