After being unable to figure this out for hours, I kindof just hit me while
watching TV. Luckily no one has come in with a response yet, since I really
hate to waste people's time with something as idiotic as this.

Naturally, CONTEXT2 skips the 0x0a not because of any state shift issue, but
because the [.] rule ignores newlines. Sometimes I seriously need to look
away from the screen.
