It seems when i insert single quotes around the hash password, the dollar
character is not interpreted.
"new_root_pwd" string => "'$1$JNoH0WXg$3sF.c.I5aWMoAj8LpMtOW1'";
But, when i try to compare two strings by this function
readstringarray("shadow_array","/etc/shadow","#[^\n]*",":",200,10000);
...
"uppwd" not => strcmp("$(new_pwd)","$(shadow_array[1])");
$(shadow_array[1]) returns a string without dollar character as following
sF.c.I5aWMoAj8LpMtOW1
