I'd suggest you to use a recent version of GNU Emacs. To download the source code, see http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/emacs. If you don't want to build the program yourself, you may want to download a pre-compiled binary, for example from https://sourceforge.net/projects/emacs-bin/files/snapshots/ HTH -- Dani Moncayo
