Chris, If you are interested in details of glpk implementation of the Schur-complement-basis factorization, you can find a memorandum glpk/doc/notes/scf.pdf (included in the glpk distribution tarball) which I wrote for myself just to document the implementation. Please note that it is in Russian, but I think you could use some on-line translators widely available in the internet to-day (e.g. Google) to translate the document to some other language.
