I just wrote this in my .emacs file: (add-hook 'this-major-mode-hook (lambda () (local-set-key "\C-cc" 'uncomment-region))) But when I restart emacs the program is split in two and I get this error: An error has occurred while loading `/home/johs/.emacs': Symbol's value as variable is void: To ensure normal operation, you should investigate the cause of the error in your initialization file and remove it.
