I am using Emacs22-gtk And want to copy something from Emacs to ANSYS I use Ctrl_SPACE to select a region,then META_W to copy it but I can not yank it to the input textfield of ansys I use VIM to see the content of registers I see the content Emacs copyed is in register * but some software expect to copy the content of register + and if I select the region then use Edit->copy I can yank it How to choose register in Emacs,just as in VIM~
