Did it work?
It did. With db 4.2.52 and subversion 1.1.3, on a relatively old
distribution -- Red Hat WS 2.1.
Last time when I've compiled against newest berkley DB I
had to add -lthread into extra libraries.
db 4.3.whatever did not work for me, perhaps -lthread was the culprit.
The subversion people said it wasn't supported yet, so I didn't go
further ...
