I place my objects in a separate directory from my source files. The directory name for the objects is dynamically built based on the build options. I want the build process to create these directories if they don't exist, but my object file doesn't care if the directory is newer than itself. Is there a way to specify that a dependency is a dependency in existence only (as opposed to existence and newness)? -- Randy Yates Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications Research Triangle Park, NC, USA [EMAIL PROTECTED], 919-472-1124 _______________________________________________ help-gnu-utils mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/help-gnu-utils
