Hi! I'm trying to compile GNUnet on a Fedora 11 box and it seems to have serious trouble in finding libextractor. The library (and the -dev headers) is actually present.
[r...@fedora-acer7520 gnunet-0.9.0pre0]# /usr/bin/libextractor-extract -v extract v0.5.22 This is the final part of the ./config output, reporting the problem: checking for kstat_open in -lkstat... no checking for libextractor... --with-extractor not specified checking extractor.h usability... yes checking extractor.h presence... yes checking for extractor.h... yes checking for EXTRACTOR_plugin_add_defaults in -lextractor... no configure: error: GNUnet requires libextractor I suspect that it *could* be because Fedora does not mount most defaults as it does not ship with non-open file formats, like MP3, AVI etc. So probably all I have to do is to twinkle with my ./config to tell it I'm in for .ogg e .ogv only. Yet, before starting to experiment I thought I'd rather ask.
