I think this is omething the grub2 developers are currently working on. At the
moment the answer appears to be "No" as in most cases it might not work.
However, they seem to be actively working on it and seem quite enthusiastic so
give it a week or so and then perhaps try again. Alternatively sign-up to the
grub-developers mailing list and help them test the various patches and things
to help them get through alpha/beta testing stages faster
