FWIW, Apple's EFI implementation supports USB booting, but their CSM-BIOS
implementation does not. I have heard an Apple Store rep suggest new Mac minis
can boot Windows from the SD card slot. Since Windows only supports UEFI 2.x,
and not Intel EFI, or BIOS booting, if true some Apple hardware may be capable
of SD slot CSM-BIOS booting. I haven't tested this myself yet. But on current
2011 hardware, CSM-BIOS booting via USB is still a no go.
