Hi,

could you help me? What's the problem with my computer or the example of
Section 7.32 of the GSL manual? We have declared a value for "expected" (-
0.17759677131433830434739701) variable but we print another, say in the last
decimals... Is it a problem of round error? And is it computer architecture
dependent?

I ran it and got
-----------------------------------------------
status = success
J0(5.0) = -0.177596771314338264
+/- 0.000000000000000193
exact = -0.177596771314338292
----------------------------------------------

Thanks in advance for the help,
Ralph.

I'm using Mandrake Linux 10.0 on an AMD Athlon(tm) 64 +3000 processor with
1024MB RAM, gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-6mdk) and also
ATLAS library.
