I use GSL under Cygwin (on Win7). Works well! Another option is GSL under MinGW (ascend4 dot org slash Binary_installer_for_GSL-1.13_on_MinGW<http://ascend4.org/Binary_installer_for_GSL-1.13_on_MinGW> ).
