I've tried two things - graphical installation without any DE/WM with the DHCP client - same effect (the system fails to boot) and manual installation using slim-service-type, where running 'guix system init /mnt/etc' throws '/mnt/etc/config.scm:40:1 error: invalid field specifier'.
