I don't see anything wrong in the trace. Maybe you can have a look at /var/log/messages if you can access this file somehow.
You don't have any login manager or desktop service set up, so at the end of the startup you should be prompted for a login. Maybe I'm asking the obvious, but have you tried pressing "return" a few times to see if the prompt appears? Otherwise, try installing a desktop service.
