Hi, since 2,5 years, when installing Guix SD on my laptop I was advised to do a (and I also understood the manual like this)
"guix pull" and a "sudo guix system reconfigure /etc/config.scm" I never used "sudo -E guix system reconfigure /etc/config.scm" or a "sudo -i guix system reconfigure /etc/config.scm" but checking now: ~$ sudo -E guix show linux-libre shows my linux-libre 6.12.9 , the updated kernel in my sudo account. so I did the same as David and it worked for 2,5 years. I did "sudo -i guix pull" and "sudo -i guix system reconfigure /etc/config.scm" and now I have linux-libre 6.12 (and also plasma with tiling extension, a life changer for me). Is there some wiki where explanations such as you gave me could be included? Or could that be in the guix manual?
